My camera uploads stopped uploading new files on my iPhone.
Until May 18, all the photos I take with my iPhone (iOS 18.1.1) were automatically sync'd into my Dropbox Camera Uploads folder. Since then, the new images are not going into the folder. My phone is fully charged, on strong wifi, and I haven't changed any settings. How do I get it to continue uploading photos to the Camera Uploads Dropbox folder?

That Camera Uploads folder gets pretty big! I move photos off into subfolders by year. But every time I connect my iPhone, Camera Uploads wants to upload all the photos it can find. My request is the ability to set up the Camera Uploads feature to limit the uploads to recent photos. User input would be an "on or after date." I'd set mine to January 1 of the current year, for example. Out in the real word, one reason for this request is that it's incredibly difficult to do mass photo deletions in iOS. It takes awhile for me to clean the photos off my phone. Also, there are some old photos I just like to keep there.
Why is the camera upload feature on iOS slow in backing up the photos to my account?
Hi!!! I have just installed the app and opened an account (yesterday) to create storage for my phone photos so I can make room on my phone. I have automatic uploads switched on and there are over 13,000 photos and videos on my phone. I am curious how long it should take for the process to complete transfer from phone to app? The âbacking upâ action happened non stop for two hours yesterday morning and when I opened the app again this morning, it is showing as still underway - âbacking upâŠâŠ.. 10894â - the number goes up and down. Iâm trying to figure out how it works and when it will be safe for me to remove the photos from my phone so I can make space to update iOS etc. I have done some random âauditsâ and found a number of photos from, for example, July 2023, which havenât transferred over to the app. Appreciate any advice, thanks!!
Where is the camera uploads setting to change .heic to .jpg on iOS?
I have been using Dropbox for a long time. It worked I never had to change anything from my initial setup. On going from Windows 10 to 11 my camera uploads changed from .jpg to .heic. Most of my use for Dropbox is uploading photos from my iPhone. I have searched through the setting menus on the Desktop App, the taskbar as Dropbox is always open and the web. I can't find the thing. Where is this camera setting?How do I stop Dropbox from uploading every single picture on my PC?
I use Dropbox on my computer to backup my work files which include my 3D renders that consist in a png sequence (one image per frame at 30 or 60fps), so I have thousands of png images related to renders but dropbox automatically adds them to the camera uploads in my phone app which is extremely annoying because I need to scroll down thousands of images to see my actual photos... if I delete them it deletes my render backup as well, it does the same thing for textures, which makes my photo roll unusable.
