Dropbox sends an incorrect email address as a multi-factor security request to enter a code

When trying to join a DropBox folder shared with me by a third-party, DropBox says it has sent a security code to my email address, but there is an error in that email address.  I checked and under my profile, the email address is correct.

How do I access the email address that is incorrect, or advise DropBox support of this, as I am on a Basic Plan?

    That indeed worked, Walter,

    I cleared browing history using the same browser and my email address was returned correctly.
