Not getting notifications when files are added to folder
As the title says, I'm not getting notifications when a file has been added to a shared folder that I created. I can see that something was added if I view "Sharing activity," but I'm not getting notified. In fact, when I click the bell icon to view my notifications, the last notification I have is from last month... so, if there is sharing activity from 10/17, how come there is no matching notification about a file being uploaded? I noticed this happening today, when I received an email last night about "Last week's updates in your shared folders." I'm like LAST WEEK????? How come I'm just now seeing this??? (Granted, it was just Thursday when they were added, so it hasn't been a full week, but still...) File added 10/17 (today is 10/22) and I'm just now finding out that some files were added. Being asked to upgrade for more storage to upload when my client is already paying for the Dropbox.
I am being asked to upgrade my account, when my client has upgraded the storage to a significant amount. 2TB or something. There is lots of space in the dropbox. Do I have to upgrade to upload as well when the space has already been paid for? Thanks
I joined a client's folder, but I'm being asked for more Dropbox space to add a file to it.
A client shared their dropbox link with me to upload files and it keeps telling me my personal account is full and to upgrade. I don't want to upgrade my account. The clients have a full account and I joined their folder to upload too. How can I get rid of this error.Why am I getting an error that my account is full after uploading files to shared folders?
This has happened with multiple clients with large amounts of storage. They share a set of folders but it doesn't see their storage amount it only sees my 2GB limit and I can't upload even though the client has plenty of room. When I sign out to see if I can access that way it asks me to sign into DB to access the link. I obviously am not the best at figuring out the issue and could use help so I can access their full storage capabilities for file transfers.
