Received emails that my file requests were closed for folders I deleted years ago
All of a sudden I received a "your file request was closed" on 5 folders that were deleted over 5 years ago. Does anyone know what is going on? I currently do not use the file request option, and have not for over 5 years. The notification listed folders I did make, but deleted in 2017.Why isn’t it possible to create file requests from the mobile app?
Hello, I was surprised to find out that file requests can only be created using the website. Why wouldn’t this be possible in the mobile app as well? Thanks, DBoxTips P.S. Getting an error when trying to upload 2.5 TB of files to a file request
Hey, I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I have a client who sent me a file request for some videos. As far as I know, they have the essentials plan with 3 TB of space. I do not use Dropbox, so I am working off the free plan. The Issue: The upload is VERY large (several files totalling 2.5 TB). Anytime I try to upload through the file request, I get an error message saying each file needs to be 250 GB or less. Is there a solution to this? Thanks for the help!
Why did the "request files" option get removed from the right-click options in the Dropbox folder?
Can someone provide some sort of explanation why the (Dropbox) 'Request files' function has disappeared from the drop-down menu (Mac). The function is still possible, but now it is buried away and (as far as I can establish) only accessible via a browser. This really makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If anyone could enlighten me about this "develpoment" I would be very grateful. Thank you
