Cannot open downloaded files
I have a number of JPG files which show up on my PC in my Dropbox folder but I am unable to open, however if I log onto my account online I can open them there.
When I look at the file properties it shows up as 3.85MB but says size on disk as 0 bytes. Is it saying that my download is only a pointer and if so how can I change it. It must be said that this does not apply to all my JPG files only some
I seem to have sorted it, I ran the dropbox app and it seems to have reset the options - thanks for the pointer.

I think you might have something. I seem to have lost the option on the PC to set files for view offline - although I can see them offline on my Android Phone
How do I recover the View Offline option for when I right click (Window)?

Dropbox uses something called 'Online Only' which is used to save space on devices. However, if Dropbox is running they should download automatically when you try and view them.
So, two things to try: make sure Dropbox is running on your machine and secondly, if not, make it available offline.
